Automobile Industry

Many studies have shown that driver distraction is the major cause of automobile accidents. A major distraction during driving is the interaction with automobile dashboards, which are becoming increasingly cluttered. Drivers must pay attention to the tachometer, speedometer, stereo, temperature controls, and gas meter. Additionally, onboard trip computers, radar detectors, integrated cellular phones, and GPS tracking maps also take the driver's eyes off the forward scene on dashboard, away from where their eyes should be, the road. At 60 miles per hour, a car travels 100 feet in one second, far enough to cause a rear-end collision under the right circumstances.

In tactical aircraft, this problem has been addressed through the use of head up displays (HUD). Auto manufacturers (e.g. GM, BMW) are currently integrating HUD into future car designs. Studies have shown that a driver is much better and safer at detecting events in the forward scene with a see-through HUD than with a conventional instrument cluster. "It trims about 1 second from the process of checking the speedometer by eliminating need to look down at the dashboard". Furthermore, studies have also shown that drivers who have used HUDs for periods as short as three days become comfortable with the feature and desire it in their future vehicles.

Unfortunately, the existing HUD technology has failed to penetrate the general automobile market due to high cost and poor display quality limited by the technology (e.g. poor image contrast and clarity, small display size and limited viewing angle). Superimaging is taking an alternative technical approach, which offers significantly better contrast, display size, and viewing angle, at much lower energy consumption. Our superior, and eventually much more affordable, HUD will appeal to a much larger market and eventually will become a standard safety and convenience feature in every future automobile (similar to the history of the airbag). Moreover, we will be able to produce the fully-integrated driving experience that automobile enthusiasts everywhere desire.

Superimaging is positioned to catch the next wave of major safety features in automobiles – head-up displays. We are actively looking for visionary investor to share the venture and opportunity. Both angels and VCs are welcome in the discussion. The following are links to some articles on this coming technology. Retail Industry

In attracting consumers, retailers are always looking to gain a competitive advantage. Any nuance, feature, or architectural feel which leads someone to become a loyal customer is desirable. To this end, items which increase consumer awareness of store and product are paramount.

SuperImaging believes its technology to be an attractive method of achieving this goal. When combined with content such as full-motion video and accompanying sound, customers will view "display-on-glass" implementations as high end, cutting edge communication, increasing their perception of both the store and products being promoted. Furthermore, the un
iqueness of this technology raises the probability that the customer will remember the advertisement, raising his awareness and making him much more likely to consider and choose based on the message being portrayed.

Moreover, the locations where effective implementations would generate value are limitless. Point-of-purchase displays, storefront windows, and wall-based advertisements are just some of the possibilities for this technology.

Superimaging is positioned to catch the next wave of retail advertising with our Transplay and MediaGlass technologies.
